This service allows us to connect all the dots when isolating your leaking pool. Some variables include size of pool, complexity of pool, number of suction lines, number of return lines, extra features. main drains, lights and location of pool equipment to pool. Extra charges may apply and be quoted before service is performed. 

 A. Electronic Vinyl Liner Scan 

• Electronic Scan of Vinyl Pool
• Diver in the pool for inspection of vinyl, jet bodies, lights, main drain, faceplates and vinyl repair
• Service does not include hot tubs or spillover spas. 

Need to know and preparations for Vinyl Leak Detection: The pool must be at normal operating level to ensure a comprehensive detection. Water must be clear. The pool floor and walls must be clean and algae free. Minimum water temp 70 deg.  All drop in steps or ladders removed prior to service. If the liner is beyond its service life the detection or repair may not be possible. When possible provide a portion of vinyl from the original install for service to use for repair. Service will try to match a patch close to your liner when possible. Vinyl scan and repair does not include popping liners into the coping track. Maximum of 15 patches per Vinyl Scan.

 B. Plumbing Pressure Test + Locate

• Water Pressure Test of applicable suction and return plumbing lines 
• Leak locate of failed plumbing line 
• Service does not include Hot Tubs or Spillover Spas

Need to know and preparations for Pressure Test & Locate:  Equipment pad plumbing may need to be cut to gain access to a plumbing line. Waterfall lines cannot be tested if the plumbing line is not accessible. Pressure testing and locating induces pressure to the plumbing line which may cause the leak to worsen after testing.  Multiple leaks may exist in one line, one more severe than the other. The larger of the two leaks can disguise the smaller leak until the larger leak is repaired. While all attempts are made to be thorough this would require additional pressure testing and locating that is not included in the initial service. CK Pools uses non destructive repair methods for underground pipe breaks when applicable, to be quoted. If a leak can only be repaired by removal of earth, stone or concrete CK Pools will refer a company that specializes in these types of repairs.

-Leak Detection cannot be performed in the rain and will need to be rescheduled. 
-The Pool surface, floor and walls must be free of debris within reason. All baskets cleared ahead of time. 
-Leak Detection cannot be performed with green or cloudy water. Water must be clear and 70 deg +.
-Leak Detection requires a quiet undisturbed working environment.  No other contractors arranged to be on site,
 yard workers, landscaping or construction. Pets kept inside.
- Poor water quality and disturbed working environments will result in rescheduled service at the customers expense. ​
